How to log calories from cardio on a machine with no input for weight?

I have a treadmill and a stationary bike that I've been using for my daily cardio workouts that are no less than 15 years old, and thus lacking in bells and whistles. They count calories, but there's no way to input your weight and I've seen around that a calorie burn calculator that doesn't take weight into account is basically useless. So how do I log this? Do I keep on using the calorie count on the machine, or should I, for example, when using the treadmill, punch in my speed and duration into MFP's generic 'walking' category and go with the estimate given by the website? Is that estimate even accurate? Any advice would be appreciated!

Consistency is the key here, pick an option and stick with it. If you're losing to goal rate then you're fine, if you're too fast then you're under-estimating, if too slow then you're over-estimating. Adjust as required.

I wouldn't get hung up on it.

Put the numbers into MFP yourself and subtract a further 20-30% for error.

My recumbent bike gives me distance and time. I input these into an app (mapmyfitness) and it calculates calorie burn based on my profile of wt, age, etc. Seems very accurate.
