I have a bad habbit of having to eat dessert after my dinner. I'm trying to lower my carb intake, and I do pretty well during the day, but then I ruin it after dinner. I usually have a Vitatop with high fiber cereal and pb2. Or an apple and pb2.
Can you give me some low carb dessert ideas to satisfy my sweet tooth?
I don't eat dairy either... so dairy free would be great!! THANKS!

I have a dairy allergy and love desserts so I have been throwing frozen fruit into my Nutri Bullet and blast it. It's like a slushy. It I have extra calories I throw in cacoa nips into it. Delicious.0

Low carb & sweet.......fake sugar is all I can come up with. Sugar free jello....sugar free popsicles....maybe some fake ice cream.....do they make sugar free Tofutti?0 -
have you tried any of the muffin in a minute recipes? I did this one recently and it was fantastic.
lime mug cake (makes 2 desserts)
3/4 cup almond meal
2 T erythritol
zest of one lime
1 t baking powder
pinch salt (1/8 t)
juice of one lime
2 T butter, melted
1 large egg
In a small bowl, whisk everything together untill well combined.
Divide between 2 microwave safe mugs
Microwave together for 1 minute 30 seconds (check to see if the top looks dry and the sides are pulling away - it's done)
Options: whipped cream on top, or a couple tablespoons blueberries folded into the batter before dividing it.0 -
Mix together 1/2 cup sugar free Jello, 1/2 cup yogurt and 1/2 cup diced fruit. Add a dollop of whip cream to the top. Experiment with different flavours/fruits. I like vanilla yogurt, strawberry Jello and raspberries. Depending on what type of yogurt and fruit you use I think this could come in at under 100 cals.0

The Atkins websites has a great recipe collection and you can search by meal and excluding certain items like dairy. Give it a try!

Just thought of another one I used to make; I'd mix stevia and cinnamon in with a couple of Laughing Cow cheese wedges and serve on apple slices or whole wheat rice cakes.0

I cannot name the website here but if you search for "Chocolaty Chunky Strawberry Ice Cream" on google then you would definitely get the recipe for this delicious icecream which not only looks and tastes good but is healthy and very low in caloric content. Hope you like it as well.0

Try having a protein shake, maybe add some frozen berries for added sweet but be careful with how much you add as fruit is naturally high in carbs.0
