Looking for inspiration for an after work treat. Im home from work around 4, and don't serve dinner until around 7. I have an hour to myself once im home , before the family start flooding in. I take this time to enjoy a quiet cup of tea and a treat and catch up on some reading, before preparing dinner. it's a moment just for me. At the moment im having a dark 2 finger kit kat, but im getting bored of the same thing every day. Any suggestions on treats with similar calories?

Go to Wal-Mart, and look in the cookie isle. There's 100 calories snack packs, and the Nonni Biscotti is amazing.0

Im in the UK so that's not an option sadly. Im on the look out for things similar to this though, but im trying to avoid actual diet products, as theyre full of crap and taste terrible0

Greek yogurts, cheese sticks, 2 whole eggs, or a few egg whites, handful of nuts, protein bars.0

ginger snaps? 4 cookies = 140 calories. i'm sure those are delicious with tea.
man, those 100-calorie snack packs would be awesome though, especially if you're trying to snack with your tea. maybe go on online and order you a box. try to get the keebler brand, they're more cookie-ish than the nabisco brand. the nabisco treats are more cracker-ish and are sub par to the keebler packs, IMO.
OR--i love these when they're available at whole foods--get some stroopwafels? those dutch caramel cookie cake things... they're soooo amazing. they might be easier to find in europe than the US. i think one big one would equal around 150 calories but they're sooooo good and worth it. i always stock up on them when i find them here.0 -
My preference is pretty much any Fiber One bar. 90 calories and fiber (which I'm always low on). I'm on a Cinnamon Coffee Cake kick right now.0

I like snacking on nuts and fruit.0

If you're referring to the 100 calorie packs; they're not diet food. they're just a portioned out 100 cals of the regular version. Most of the time.0 -
If your in the UK try www.theproteinworks.com they have protein grazers, they are all delicious and the peanut toffee ones are 97 calories, if you do order use this code DC113132 and you'll also get a choice of 2 free protein products, all the products are all natural with no artificial additives and before somebody says it no I don't work for them lol. I have used them for the past 4 months and find the products very useful when dieting. Good luck with your journey.0

I think I posted this once before, but I once had a UK kit kat and is sooooo much better than our US ones. Jealous. You ship me those and I'll ship you some 100 calorie packs, lol.
In all seriousness, depends on what your'e looking for. Sweet? A cup of hot cocoa, or chocolate skim milk. Do you have chocolate cheerios there? Those are pretty substantial and sweet for under 100 calories. There are lots of greek yogurts now that are under 100 calories- even in sweet flavors like caramel or banana, or the vanilla coconut. I also like Dole frozen chocolate banana slices.
Savory? Laughing cow cheese on triscuits.
Popcorn with seasoning.0 -
I like to have a couple of squares of Lindt Excellence dark chocolate, my favourites are either Mint Intense (2 squares = 20 g = 106 cal) or Coconut (2 sq. = 102 cal.)
Not as much of a treat, but I also really like Nairn's Muesli Breaks Oatcakes with a cup of tea. They come in little packs of two (112 cal per pack). They're quite low in sugar compared with most biscuits, so they're a little strange at first, but they're dunk-able. They're also relatively high in fibre and quite satisfying.0 -
2 Jaffa Cakes (90 cals)
1 chocolate digestive (86 cals)
1 small Kit Kat /2 fingers(107 cals) - oops have just realised that you said you were sick of these!
in fact most small bars are around the 100 cal mark
Tayto Velvet Crunch if crisps are your thing are only 86 cals a packet
Walkers do a similar alternative to Tayto's, just can't remember what they're called!
1 small banana
1 apple with a little peanut butter - very satiating and not far off 100 cals either.
1 slice of wholemeal toast with marmalade/jam.
All of the above are extremely close to 100 and there have to be loads and loads more

Glutino chocolate wafers. One "portion" is four wafers and 160 calories, but I am very happy with two.

Fruit! You can have multiple servings of some fruits for 100 cals. Healthy, sweet, and will probably make you less hungry than a 100 cal pack of crispy air.0

Fruit, for sure. Very sweet, filling, nutritious and low-cal.
I'm another with the Fiber One bars, but mine is more like 150 calories. Strawberry streusel. Yum.0 -
