How do I juice?

I don't have a blender or a juicer. I'm getting one this weekend, but are there any ways to make a juice with veggies and fruit without a juicer or blender?

Just eat the fruit and vegetables instead. Problem solved.

I just came here to see if this was about 'roids or actual juicing. Yes I am a bad person.

Manual citrus juicers are cheap and you can make orange juice, grapefruit or lemon/lime juice...plus it gives your arm a good workout! If you're going to juice with a juicing machine, it's better to juice your veggies and eat your fruit, rather than vice versa. Use your juicer as a way to fit in nutrients from kale, spinach, celery, cucumber, etc. and limit how much sugary fruit you put in the mix.

Ha, ha, some of these replies are so funny!

My question is-do you want to just make juice or do you want to drink juice to lose weight?

If you want to make juice, follow the instructions on your juice machine. I have one and love making juices to go with meals and snacks.

For me, juices are never a meal replacement. They go with the meal or snack, and I think that's their purpose.

If you want lose weight by replacing meals with juice, think again because it's not healthy weight loss. In that case, eat most of your fruit and drink only some with your meals and snacks.

I have a Nutribullet that we use to "juice" or make smoothies/shakes. I used to have a Jack LaLane juicer that was a huge, bulky pain in the butt and left out so much of the nutrients of whatever I was blending. I swear by my Nutribullet. I never substitute my juices/shakes/smoothies for meals, just simply enhance. My kids love it too. Plus I use it as a way to sneak in some of their not so favorable fruits or veggies without then realizing it!
