Guy at gym asked me for help today...

I was walking by his bench...there was no one else around. He had clearly done several sets already. He asked me to spot him.
Was he hitting on me?
If he'd already done those other sets, why ask me now other than he was clearly attracted to me...right?

I bench a lot...I'll track down the biggest dude I can when I need a spot because I know they will understand about lifting heavy weights.

Easier for him to do a junk inspection from the bench position with you spotting. The question is, what happened after the set?0

Did he add any weight to the bar? Maybe the next plate he wasn't as confident about? 'Cause if he didn't then it was because he thought you were a looker.0

Does that help increase your bench one rep max? Have you tried that same approach on the squat?

I've heard you get more power if you keep your glutes firmly planted on the bench. You should help him with this.
