Turbofire - own schedule (post pregnancy)

Hi there,
I have a 7 month old and am trying desperately to get back into fitness (I had lost 70lbs before i got pregnant and could do with losing that again!!). But having a young baby means I have to squeeze exercise in when she naps which is usually for 45 mins.
I am trying Turbofire as turbo jam wasn't inspiring me anymore and I'm not ready for 30 day shred yet (lasted a week a couple months ago). Anyway so I want to try Turbofire for maybe 4 weeks to begin with but I can't follow the set schedule because the sessions are too long.
So my question is (at last right?!) - will i get results from following my own schedule or is it vitally important that i follow the set one? So far this week i've done fire 30 twice, hiit 15 and core 20 and today managed fire 45 ez. I'm planning a stretch 40 tomorrow and then something tone based on saturday or sunday.
I know weigh loss is an intake to output deal but for now i just want to up my stamina again - i was nearly finished with Tapout when i had to stop due to complications in pregnancy and the idea of being able to do that again is quite scary and seems so far away
Thank you in advance

There is nothing magical about the schedule. Fit in what you can and push yourself as hard as you can to get the biggest bang for your buck. Looks like you have a pretty good balance of steady cardio, hiit and core work. So go for it, commit to it and eat right.
When your little one starts sleeping longer, start working in different/longer workouts if you want. I gained 60ish lbs this last pregnancy and completely understand feeling like that level of fitness I was at before is too far away to reach. My daughter just turned 1 and I am almost back to were I was pre-pregnancy. I didn't start really getting serious about it until she was almost 6 months old. If you really work at it your body will improve faster than you think.0 -
You get weight loss results from being a in calorie deficit. The increased stamina will come from exercise, the schedule is irrelevant. I have the TurboFire set and only do 3 of the workouts (because I dislike the rest), and just use them on cardio days based on how much time I have and what I feel like doing.
Eventually the baby will sleep more, or you'll switch out your workout time to be after the baby goes to bed or before she wakes up so you can get in a longer workout. Just do what you can, a short workout is better than no workout.0 -
Thank you ladies. Much appreciated and thanks for the inspiration, i really need to believe I can do it again.0

You absolutely can do it again! It is hard at times but it can be done. Even if you get off track a day or two, get back to it and you will see a difference. You have all the tools and have done it before, you can do it again.
Here is what helped me when I first started back. I sat down and looked at myself and said that 1 year from now I can either look like I do right now(or worse), or I can look better. The year is going to pass one way or another but by the end of it I can start feeling like me again. Whenever I get discouraged or I mess up this is what I remind myself of and I keep going.0
