Hi, thanks
During this cut I couldnt lift weights as I hurt my shoulder/arm (tendonitis) at work. So no weights. Usually I lift heavy! I didnt do much in the way of leg weights either as I found I was putting my legs through enough punishment with my running program. My legs look nicely toned/defined from my running. I'll have to upload a photo of my legs sometime.
I run 4 times a week, testing/training all my energy systems. 3 times a week I run anywhere from 15 second sprints - 6 minute 30 sec intervals with jog recovery's. This equates to 60 metre sprints - 1.2 km (3 laps of the track) On the 4th session of the week i'll either do just a slow long distance jog of say 45 minutes or a reasonably fast 3 km. Sometimes i'll also test myself and do a 2 km time trial. I have found the speedwork, especially the 2 - 3 minute stamina training intervals have improved my 2 km time. I'm getting fit for preseason footy training.
I just had a look at my October calorie stats. My October monthly average stat was 1822 calorie average.
Now that my scale loss has slowed down I measure my progress through photos and trying on my skirts. I'm hoping to fit into my black skirt by christmas work lunch middle of December.
I eat mostly lean meats, tuna, salads, fruit, avocado, eggs, greek yoghurt, wholegrain breads sometimes, weetbix, almonds, whatever the family is having for dinner. Some nights i'll feel hungry and I'll try to fight it by not having that extra snack but sometimes i'll given in and let myself eat a bit more. Last night after the hard session I did I ended up eating around 2000 calories. It averages out anyhow. Last night I did 8 minutes of 17 second sprints, 30 second jog recovery, then 10 minutes worth of 200 metres (around 1 minute 05 seconds) with a jog recovery of 1 minute 30. Hard work!
