I woke up this morning feeling meh
You see my weight has been bouncing up and down for months and I have been getting nowhere fast. I lost my mojo, my motivation and my fighting spirit.
The last 2 weeks I have lost a pound or 2 so this week I was due a gain.
I got on the scales expecting the worse.
I looked at the numbers, surely it can't be right. I got off, reset to zero and got on again... same number.
I had lost 1.6lb.
Ok so not a big loss but it made me smile
1.6lb took me to 181lb. For the first time in a long time I am below 13st and I have lost 33.8lb. Something that seemed so far away back in January when I topped the scales at 214.8lb (15st 4.8lb).
I got dressed and noticed that my once tight fitting jeggins are somewhat loose. If I carry on MC Hammer will be calling for his trousers back.
How could I have not noticed before? Is it because in my head I was bigger than I actually am just because the scales were not moving and I failed to see my body was changing regardless?
Then I got brave. I tried on some waterproof trousers I bought last winter because they were on sale and I wanted to go quadding in the snow. I couldn't get them on without jumping about like a drunken Jack in the box.
Today, I got them on no problems. Bring on the winter, this year I am begging for snow because when it does the skid lid will be on and I will be out on the quad in my waterproof trousers.
This morning, I felt meh
Now, I feel amazing
Bring on the next 13lb. Unlucky for some but not me
