Ok so i hit a massive wall just after summer had ended and i just stopped loosing weight , no matter what exercise i did no matter how far i ran or what weights i lifted i just could not and would not loose any weight. I just gave up in the end seeing no noticeable difference in my body i just gave up with everything after months and months of hard dieting and exercise.

I really need help getting back into my routine but i don't know what to do now , i've had a lot of people delete me from my friendslist who where ace (I don't blame them) i would of done the same thing. However i'm stuck now between a rock and a hard place and i just don't know what to do.

If i go back to the same routine and diet i will just end up hitting the same wall and it will keep making me feel like crap.

I need help with awesome snack ideas as well as awesome meal ideas.

My old diet was lean meats eggs whole grains rice etc...

But i can't just eat the same old boring meals everyday like i did before it was so unforgiving doing that.

I have the equipment i need to loose weight but i've lost the motivation and the drive i had at the start of the year to do it.

Eat what you normally do, just less of it. Obviously the healthier the better, but you don't have to give up the foods you love, just eat them in moderation so you don't feel like "failing" when you cut them out and then give in. A calorie deficit is what matters to lose weight.

Why are you starving yourself? Don't think of it as a diet. Eat what you love, but in moderate portions and like malibu927 said...eat a calorie deficit. As to the exercises...I don't lift so I can't give you any advice.

It is o.k. to eat food. Cook a steak.

You need a recipe book for ideas. Try the Hairy Dieters, or Jamie Olivers 15 minute meals.

Your profile pic is cracking me up!

Can you open up your diary so we can have a peek?

Hey dude, maybe switch what you are eating. If you're struggling with the lean meats and grain and are not enjoying eating them day in day out add some variety.
You can do it - it may not have been working the last couple of months but you've not quit, you've posted this thread.

I'm sure you'll find what you need.

A caloric deficit is all that's required to lose weight. You don't need to give up any food, you need to eat in moderation.

I think some people might have got the wrong end of the stick , i was eating a lot whilst i was on my diet <-- lol. I was getting 2,200 kals a day which is fine for me considering what i was previously on lol. I hate 3 meals a day and a snack and lots of water. I wasn't starving myself , i was just giving examples of the boring food i kept eating day in and day out it was getting boring lol.

So eat what you want! I eat pizza, fast food, and ice cream every week. As long as you're in a deficit, you'll lose weight.

As for diet, maybe work in some more "fun" foods at least once a week. They can still fit your calorie goal if you plan. Once a month, go out for a meal and eat whatever. (Not like three meals and two desserts, but just enjoy the meal.) As for workouts, switch things up. Are you lifting? Or doing bodyweight exercises? Do you run? Maybe get a workout buddy. I like to keep variety in my workouts, and look for fun active things to do that don't feel like workouts as well. Do you drink enough water? What are you macros? There are lots of things you can try changing, to make things more interesting and fun as well as see some results.

if you were eating 2200 and not losing then you are either eating in a surplus or eating at maintenance…

Do you own a food scale? Do you weigh/log/measure everything that you eat?

where did you get 2200 calories a day from ..?

ETA - you cannot out train a bad diet. If you are working out and overeating, you will still gain weight...

While this app is amazing, perhaps go see a nutritionist who can help you with getting over the hurdle you have reached. I do know that weight loss will come in plateaus, so everyone hits that proverbial wall. You have to plow through it.
