When u block someone?

Can they see what you post? or can they see you at all? Just wondering.

    When did MFP get a blocking feature other than the PM & Friend Requests? That's wonderful if we did but I must have missed the memo because I had no idea we now have this feature on here.

    Love to hear how it works for those that are using it, I don't know how I missed Mike mentioning this brand new feature.:huh:

    I had a lady sending me messages about a company she has and I saw block this person on top of the message and I hit block this person, but I don't know if she can still see what I post or what not.

    I had a lady sending me messages about a company she has and I saw block this person on top of the message and I hit block this person, but I don't know if she can still see what I post or what not.
    I take it she sent you a PM? If she sent you a PM then she is still able to send them but you won't receive them in your PM mailbox nor will she know you blocked her. MFP doesn't indicate to the sender they have been blocked. I apologize if I'm assuming it's via PM and it's not. That's the only way I know of blocking a person on here.

    I do hope in the future though more blocking techniques are put into place on the boards.

    ETA: Blocking a person's messages in a PM does not effect viewing members posting on the boards, so yes, she would still be able to see your posts. I would go beyond blocking it if it was me. She's advertising on a site that doesn't allow that within the rules. You can contact one of the Mods Mike put into place and let them know the situation. To find the Mods names simply go the right side of your homepage and check Mike's last Blog post regarding Mods and He includes their names there. You can PM one of them and let them know the situation and the members name and the info shared.

    Yes, she sent me a PM so I pushed block so I wouldn't recieve any more messages from her.
