Starting over again

Hey yall,

I'm just a returning user; I haven't used myfitness pal consistently ever, but I am looking for a change. I would like to loose 20 pounds. I have recently been diagnosed with hashimoto's thyroiditis so I've found it a bit harder to loose and easier to gain weight. I have never been technically overweight but I am not the size I want to be either. I would like to loose weight to feel confident in my own skin and before I have a baby. I don't know if that makes sense but I believe it will make it easier afterwards and of course to have a safe pregnancy.

I am an oncology RN so health is very important to me. I am extremely guilty of dieting but not working out so that is one thing I look forward to changing. I'm on my feet a lot with my job, but I am hoping purposeful exercise will be the key to me losing the weight I want. Also, I have been eating gluten free since my hashimoto's diagnosis, so I look forward to connecting with others who eat gluten free.

Hi there I also have a underactive thyroid along with other issues which make losing weight a challenge. I need to lose a minimum of 20lbs in order to be healthy. I have been exercising five days a week but sometimes get discouraged. I have lost inches but the lbs are not exactly falling off. I would be interested in supporting you as well.

Add a lot of friends. Their stories will encourage you and they will keep you on track. If you find 3 or more that you bond with, exchange numbers. Basically, you need an accountability partner.

    You can do this.
