1. Wasa Crisp'n light (70 calories for 3 slices) and Leksand Original Crisp Bread (44 calories for 1 piece) Swedish ray crisp bread, fills me up really good and I do not feel the urge to eating.
2. Three ladies rice sticks: They give 80 calories for 56 grams. A comparable amount of any other noodles/rice sticks wood give 200 calories. You will also feel filled. I usually steam 150 grams of Carrots and 200 grams of Cauliflower (this will sum up to around 180-200 calories for the whole meal!) sometimes I also add 60-100 grams of mushrooms. I then put a spoonful of tomato paste in a pan and mix everything together with tomato paste. Add salt, pepper and whatever seasoning you like and it will taste healthy and good. I also sometimes add 50 grams of onions and parsley to the mix.
3. A body measure and a food scale.
4. support from friends and family.
5. #myfittnesspal food log.
I lost 30 pounds so far and still have to shed around 15!
Wish you all the best!

What helps me with satiety?
Not food-type restriction, but eating smaller meals more often.0 -

SLLRunner,
I have tried to have smaller more frequent meals, but that have not helped me. I found restricting calories and eating food with high glycemic index helped so much more.0 -
@Manderson27 that's interesting, do you still count calories though?0

Yes I still count calories. For me it is the only way to be sure I am in deficit. But I do love my meat, cheese, eggs, etc for protein. A bacon sandwich will last me a lot longer than a crispbread or a salad.
