Has anyone eaten Peter Pan Creamy Plus (with the added vitamins)?

I am iron deficient. My hematocrit and hemoglobin are normal but my ferritin is very low - 7.7. I REALLY do not want to take supplements so I'm trying to get my iron up through food. I eat peanut butter often, practically on a daily basis. I eat Peter Pan creamy. I found out there is a Peter Plan creamy plus version that has 25% iron which would really help. It also is filled with other vitamins and nutrients that the regular one doesnt have which include 20% Vitamin A, 20% Vitamin E, 25% Magnesium, 20% Copper, 20% Vitamin B6, and 25% Zinc.

But I have severe anxiety so I'm really nervous to try it. I'm worried what if it doesn't taste the same? Or what if it causes side effects from all the added vitamins/minerals? I am terrified of throwing up and diarrhea so I don't want that to happen from eating it. I'm just worried it might upset my stomach because of everything added to it. Or what if I end up getting too much of the other vitamins and minerals that I'm not deficient in? I'm really worried about it.

Has anyone tried the creamy plus? How does it compare to the regular?

Thank you!

:) I bet its great. the original peter pan peanut butter is lovely, so why wouldnt the plus be good?

My doctor recommends total cereal with a glass of orange juice as a replacement breakfast for those with anemia.
  • I had it. Its so good, and it definitely didn't give me any stomach issues. And if you're getting to much vitamins, your body will expel it naturally.

p.s I hope you have a wonderful day!
