Your weight fluctuates daily (even hourly). That's why it's good to weigh yourself just once a week.0

Watching your sodium intake and increasing your water intake, right? If not, water weight will get ya real quick. Plus, our body goes through so many different stages of digestion that weight can fluctuate 2lbs in just one day!0

Your weight will naturally fluctuate from day to day...heck hour to hour. Avoid weighing everyday. Water retention...did you drink a lot of water yesterday? Not enough? Did you work out or lift weights and mayb your muscles are retaining some water? Could be a number of things.
If you ate within your calorie goals then it is not actual fat weight it is just water and will disappear in a day or two.0 -
don't weigh yourself so often. Seriously. your body changes 0-3 lbs just through the day based on what you're eating and where your body is at in its digestive cycle. You should weigh yourself once a week (on the same day) just after you wake up. This will give you the most useful measurement. And its how the BMI & other tools are set - using national averages of people in the morning, after they wake. So you'll be comparing apples and apples.0

Your weight certainly DOES fluctuate! Think about all the food you ate yesterday. Even if you were within your calories - the food itself weighs something. Until you go poop, it's like carrying your actual breakfast, lunch, and dinner in your arms while you stand on your scale. Plus, you might retain water from various factors. Large weight fluctuations throughout the week are totally normal! Just keep your chin up! Don't weigh yourself so often if it's going to discourage you. I can see major fluctuations just within a day - it's insane! So you have to keep that knowledge in the back of your mind while you weigh in.0

If you're staying under your calories and exercising, make sure you're eating your exercise calories. Without exercising, MFP has already factored in a 500cal per day deficit to account for loosing 1lb a week (500 calorie deficit x 7days = 3500 calorie deficit / week = 1 lb)
if you;re not eating those exercise calories, you could be sliding into the dreaded starvation mode, causing you're body to hang on to whatever calories you give it.

You can't compare day to day weights, there is too much fluctuation. You have to watch the overall trend. It's possible you were dehydrated yesterday, you are more hydrated today. You had less food in your system, you have more today. If you're goal is at 1 lb a week, that is equivalent to losing .14 lbs a day, that is about 2 oz (and you won't lose weight consistently). So many things happen that can easily over shadow those 2 oz.0

if you aren't eating all your calories and are always under, that could be the problem. Try eat right at the goal, and once a week or every couple weeks, go over by a little. It keeps you body guessing. Also, if you eat exactly the same thing every day that could be the problem. Good luck.0
