I didnt eat out of control today, but I sure ate good, I haven't eaten a lot of food like that in a while.....I was so full my stomach hurt lol.
I used lite Smart Balance butter, I used Splenda brown sugar, and regular splenda in my baked goods, etc.
Did anyone else go over their calories today....I wasn't really counting, but I did log in some food...the stuff I could....I didnt even add the slice(s) of pie I had...and still went over......ugh. Back to the grind tomorrow

I had one plate. That is a first for me. I am so excited about it. After all I have been carrying this weight for quite awhile. However, I had a great Thanksgiving!

I didn't do to bad today, I did eat but not bad, I did have a piece of pumkin pie but I did pay for it later, I don't think my stomach really new what to do with all of the food I put into it., I know that I am not eating dinner tonight, we are off tomorrow for another dinner and then one more on Sat. so I know that I am going to be over turkey by Sunday. I did have water for dinner and had a spoon full of each thing but the corn I stayed away from, I ate the green beans instead. I was pretty happy with myself today. We will see how good I am tomorrow, have a great weekend everyone!!!

  • Eeesh I went over like by 600! But I never eat this way and I did stay under 2000 (barely!) so I could've done worse! Tomorrow is gym-day for SURE! :)

I swore I wasn't going to count calories or even worry about what I ate but I guess it is just habit. I had to enter my food when I got home. I went over by 321 calories, but I have a goal of only 1200 a day so I guess I could have definitely done a lot worse!

I went over by 226, approximately, since you really don't know how people prepared the food. But we went for a half hour walk after dinner up and down hills. Hopefully that helped some.

I have to say this is like a family with so much support. Little did I know that I would be worried about what I ate and then log on to MFP on Thanksgiving.

Wow! good for you!! I think I go a good 200 calories over EVERY day!! Still don't know how I am loosing weight but hey...whatever works right!

Oh, yeah, I went WAY over, but I figure Thanksgiving is once a year, so I ate whatever I wanted. I'm on the "maintaining" plan now, so I'm not as strict. Two weeks after reaching my goal weight, I had lost two-tenths of a pound more, so I don't feel bad if I go a smidge over my daily goal sometimes. The other day I exercised and ended up 500 calories under my daily goal.

I still enter everything, though. It keeps me honest. When I do go over, I tell myself that tomorrow, I get to start over!

I didn't! I did very well, and I know my potions well.

I even only ate 1/2 a piece of the yummiest pie ever. I was allowed 1,600 today (from exercise, normally I eat 1,200) and have only eaten 1,110.... I am really thinking I will eat the piece of pie for 400....
  • I let myself have a cheat day once a month. Today was this months. Christmas is next months lol. :drinker:

I think I was over my calorie intake at breakfast this morning just thinking about lunch and supper. Don't feel bad. Its just one day. :flowerforyou:
  • It was a good day considering all the very yummy food. I ate 1/3 the amount that I usually eat at ThanksGiving lunch and really watched it. I didn't feel over stuffed or extra tired this year. That felt good. Before lunch I burned 320 calories and after lunch I took my 3 year old daughter for a walk. That helped but still went over by 1,400. I was surprised because I did try but there was a couple foods that did me in... the puppy chow and pumpkin pie. I'm up 3 lbs. in my weight-arrrrr again because I "fed a cold" and then today. I'll be serious this next week (starting tomorrow) with the system. No way do I want to give it up now. I still feel very motivated to fight for it. My husband started his own system to loose weight so that helps to have someone else in the house doing it. Great job to you!!! Way to stay on it and under the calories. Sleep well.
