Withings Pulse

I just purchased a Withings Pulse and I assumed that it would link my step count with MFP because it was listed as supported up under steps with the Fitbit. Am I missing something? I linked my Withings Account with MFP and step count stays at 0. I have a Galaxy Note 3 and when I had my Flex it linked fine but they kept tearing up so I purchased the Withings because I have their scale. Could someone help with this. If it won't link together for step count I need to take it back and get something that will. If this is so, any suggestions?

    Do you have it synced to the withings app on your phone? Have you already synced your device? -You press down the button for 3 seconds
