Hello everyone! I joined MFP today mostly for the community. I'm looking for friends with similar weight loss goals for support, someone to talk to, and help motivating each other.
I began my weight loss journey at the beginning of July of this year. My weight was up to 304lbs (I'm 5'4") and, because of that and weight-related health issues, I decided it was truly (finally) time to make a change. I started eating much better (still confused when it comes to healthy eating) and exercising 5x/week, 30mins at a time (which is currently on hiatus until I get some more medical testing done -- I actually miss it and am looking forward to returning to the gym), and so far I've lost just over 30lbs. I have a long way to go, but things are starting to look a little more possible.
If you have similar weight loss goals, or have experience losing over 100lbs, I would love to talk to you. I would love some support in dealing with weight-related health issues, how to push through days where the goal seems too big to be achieved, and how to stay positive and realize the possibilities. I'd love to make friends and offer support. This process is difficult, but it's easier when you don't feel so alone.

Hi there! I have over 100 lbs to lose and am just over half way to my target. I started in July as my health was suffering and have just kept logging every day. it really does help you to think about what is going in your mouth! I do a little exercise but am limited by bad knees but even so, have improved since beginning. Good luck!!0

I don't have that much to lose (down 32, max about 55/60 to go) but I'd love to help support you if you want to add me! I won't be offended if you don't0
