I'm comparing two hydration drinks for high intensity sport, one has amino acids

L-Glutamine 48mg,
L-Isoleucine 48mg
L-Leucine 48mg
L-Valine 48mg

Sodium 38mg
Potassium 27mg
Magnesium 8mg
Zinc 7mg
Calcium 13mg
Chromium 60mcg.

The other one has double the numbers of sodium and potassium but none of the aminos.

Sodium 142mg
Potassium 63mg
Calcium 14.4mg
Magnesium 12.2mg

so overall what is port important, adding the extra acids etc better with a lower sodium potassium etc level, or would the higher numbers no acids be better?

I'm not doing marathons or triathlons and if I ever learned what the recommendations are, I've forgotten them.

Sodium requirements vary based on age, race, etc.

If you are doing endurance-type stuff, it would be best to consult a doctor or dietitian to get a good idea of what you need.

If you're just working out for an hour, you really don't need anything but water because your body can handle that all on it's own, assuming you are otherwise healthy.

What are you trying to accomplish with the drink?

Yes, for what do you need it? I train for marathons, but do not bother with electrolytes unless it is very hot and I sweat tons.
