Help with setting up macros

Hey, so I am just trying to lose a few more pounds to meet my goal weight. I heard that 40/40/20 is a good macro ratio to cut (P,C,F). I've also heard that you need about 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. If I set my macros to this ratio, it gives me a protein requirement way above my bodyweight ( I weigh 146, protein requirement is over 200g). What do you all suggest? I'd rather not waste my protein powder to get up that high if it's not gonna help me. Any advice?

Did you ever figure out your macros after all? Btw for protein its really easy you would only need to consume 1g of protein per pound of body weight so yours would be 146g protein.. Im still trying to figure out the rest. I was told 1/2g for fat and carbs per pound of body weight as well.. Good Luck.. If u know how to do it hmu too.0
