Struggles or successes of the week: Went hiking and (primitive) camping for 2 days and walked about 12 miles carrying about 35 pounds in my backpack. The scale says I've gained 4 pounds. Hopefully, it is muscle weight. So far I have lost 66 pounds since April 21st. I want this challenge to keep me motivated to keep going ( I am about halfway to my goal weight). Struggles or successes of the week: We've been living with my in-laws and they practically live off junk food. Pop-tarts, cookies, chips, soda, ice cream you name it and I'm sure its there. I like to cook healthy meals especially breakfast and its a huge no- no in their house to make noise before 10 in the morning. On the up side we should be in own place this week and I can my own thing and cook my way!0 -

Struggles or successes of the week: I didn't deprive myself on Thanksgiving. (*) I made sure I worked out the day before along with the day after. The success? Not taking ANY leftovers home! I didnt want 1 cheat day to turn into 2.0 -

Struggles or successes of the week: have a workout plan for the week and have already begun to followed it, my roommate who normally subsists on taco bell and mcdonald's just got a bunch of healthy food so now I have some good peer pressure, BUT thanksgiving did me in and its finals week meaning no time to workout and cook healthy food and all stress aka body goes in to survival mode0 -

Struggles or success of the week: This week I am struggling to avoid all the delicious thanksgiving leftovers, and the success is that (except for enjoying every bite on thursday) I have not gone near it. Also trying to get back into doing pilates, which I was on a roll with for a while and I guess I just got a little bored....Looking forward to <175 this week, as my BMI will then no longer be "obese" (ugly horrible word)

I need to get back on the wagon with eating well. Have healthy food planned out for the next few days. I love to work out, but had a surgery on my leg a month ago that has kept me from working out... and another 8-12 weeks to go. Uhg. Gave up on the eating then too, but I changing that now!!! I have not stepped on the scale since the surgery, but I can tell it is certainly up. I will set a goal of losing 4 pounds this month. Overall, have about 10 or so more pounds to lose.0 -

Hi guys, I'm new at myfitnesspal and tomorrow I'm starting my new meal plan. It's around 1300 - 1500 calories low card diet, and a cheat day. Also I'm planning to workout at least 4 times a week, 30 minutes of high intensity cardio and 50 minutes of pilates reformer. For me it's super hard to work out during the holidays (it's cold, and there's food!) but I'm really committed to get in shape next year, so why wait till January? Hopefully, we can motivate each other.
