Could I have cheated myself?

Since I have started MFP I have been logging my workouts under Aerobics High impact ..( I do the Insanity program) It usually tells me I have burned around 350 calories. My husband just bought me a HRM and it tells me I burn around 600- 800 calories. Could I have been cheating myself by not eating enough calories for the calories I have burned? Could this be why I haven't lost as much wait as I expected? What are your thoughts on this?

I believe you have been cheated....I would bet you are burning 600-800 each workout!
    This is great news!

Yes, I think this is correct! But now that you know, you know what to do!!

After I got my HRM - my eyes were opened too....

    YES!
I was doing a bootcamp class without a HRM, guessing I was burning 500 cals per hour but WASNT losing at all! So mad!
Got and HRM and realized I was probably burning 800+ calories per class :(
    I felt cheated too.
I was only netting 1000 calories per day, and stayed at the same weight for a full month.

Wow! What a huge difference in calories! Now you know and can manually edit the number of calories burned and the weight will keep coming off! Nice work!

I agree, I think it is a major reason why you haven't lost as much as you should of. I'm curious to see the results with the extra calories you eat. Good luck

Once I got my HRM my loss really picked up. Some workouts were way over estimated by MFP some under. Now I know for sure. As long as the HRM accounts for height, weight and gender it is far more accurate.
