I weigh less than I did when I was 13! Quick question though.

When I was 13, I went to summer camp and got in a pretty awful mountain biking accident. When I went to the hospital, I was weighed and the number was an even 150 lbs. I was 5'8 at the time.
I am almost 19 now and 5'9. I just went back for Thanksgiving Break and weighed 149! Down from 160 on August 10. My heaviest weight ever was 165, but I had jaw surgery when I was 15 and lost 15 pounds in one month and I never put all of it back on.
My lowest weight was 144, and I was 16.
All this to say, it took me so long to lose those 11 pounds (nearly 3.5 months), does anybody else lose that slowly? I want to weigh 138 by February, but I thought I would share my victory and gather thoughts from you all.

Great job! I'm 5'9 and my ultimate goal is 138 as well
It depends how you are losing on the rate...are you just doing the calorie deficite? or are you doing cardio? to lose a little faster you can add some cardio, or interval training. Maybe your getting where your body wants to be, you'll have to lower calories or increase exercise! Good luck!

Slow loss is more healthy for you so your skin can snap back and you burn more fat. While you might have been losing fat, you were building muscle which weighs more than fat. Pay more attention to measuring than weight for now.0
