I think it's important to superset appropriately in order to work muscle groups however, most people shy away from supersetting and do one workout with long breaks in between. What does your workout look like? Leg Day? Chest Day? Back Day? BI/Tricpes?

Leg Day:
Squats 3 sets of 10 starting with no weight to max weight (3x5)
Leg Press 3 sets of 10 starting with no weight to max weight (3x5)

Lunges
Deadlifts

Individual Leg Extensions
Adductor
Abductor

Cable Kick Backs
Cable Extensions

Im not sure what you mean by subset.

I follow an upper/lower split program.
  • What days do you do what? And what exercises do you pair together?

how long have you been doing that for and how is it working for you? Just curious as I am looking to mix up my upper/lower routine...

I just started it but so far it feels great. I was doing 5/3/1 for a long time and it was great but as much as I wanted it, I was not really advanced enough to need a program like that. This program is a great bridge between something like 5x5 and an advanced program.

What do you mean you were not advance enough for 5/3/1?

    When bulking:
    - heavy, push
    - heavy, pull
    rest/recovery
    - volume, push
    - volume, pull
    rinse and repeat

    when cutting: wendler's 5/3/1, triumverate

during race season I'm going to try the Juggernaut System.

Just not pushing enough weight to need so much recovery built in to the program. I can still benefit from a faster advancement.
