Couple Questions About Piyo

I'm planning to get Piyo as a supplement to C25K. The jogging will be enough impact for my old legs, so it looks like Piyo will work me out without further battering my joints. Is that accurate? I found some threads here about it but not a lot, especially not with older adults working it.

Second, has anyone bought it on Amazon and had issues? I'm Prime so I can get it fast and avoid shipping charges but I see several reports of scratched and skipping DVDs or missing items. It looks, like the orders are fulfilled by Beachbody there so not sure why the problems.

I'm looking forward to making this my early New Year exercise program.

Buying BB programs off of Amazon is not allowed by the company. So they are usually pirated copies. Piyo is very good for encouraging core strength. I have a severe back injury and was able to do the program with some mods. Your best best is to buy it off of "coach" but DONT let them talk you into the shakes or any of the other nonsense.

The Amazon listing says it's fulfilled by Beachbody, but the reports of scratches/skipping and missing items make me wonder. Thanks for the info on the program. I think it would be a good foundation for me. Do the coaches or BB itself ever offer free shipping? That was a big attractor for me on Amazon.

Beachbody does fulfill products on Amazon, but there are pirated copies out there, so just make sure it says fulfilled by Beachbody as you said! Many DVDs had trouble coming straight through the company, so don't worry about that. If you order directly through Beachbody, you always have a 30 day money back guarantee and they'll replace the disc(s) for free if they skip or are scratched. Sometimes there are free shipping offers, but usually when the program is originally released, like the redesigned P90 last month. If you get a challenge pack (program with shakeology), shipping is always only $2.

Most programs (with or without shakeology) come within 5 business days, so it's a little slower than Prime, but come with the guarantee.

Piyo is great and there are modifications if needed. It is definitely a challenging workout without the stress on joints from high impact moves. Just be careful ordering from Amazon- I bought a BB program on there years ago not realizing the difference and several features on the DVDs didn't work- I wasn't able to return or exchange the program. I've ordered programs through a coach ever since. BB customer service is great and I've had no issues!

Thanks for the info! I always love it when they have modification options, just in case. I'll keep an eye out for Beachbody to offer free shipping. I found a Black Friday coupon link online for free shipping on BB products that was supposed to be good through today, but it didn't work when I tried. Maybe they'll have some sort of New Years resolution special.
