rethinking my "goal"?

soo i'm f, 5'4, and my gw was 104.5/105 (that's where i think i look the best)
within a week i've gained 2 lb up to 107
here's my question: i have a friend who says that because i'm "statistically underweight", no matter how hard i try, my weigh will keep bouncing back up if i even slightly overeat...
thoughts??

I'm thinking you didn't gain 2lbs in a week like you assume. That would mean you would have had to have eaten 7,000 calories over your maintenance calories for that week. I am guessing you ate something high carb/high sodium and were just holding water when you weighed in last.
Thoughts on your friend? She/He is full of it.0 -
^Agree with the PP.
However, if you're clinically underweight, why are you still trying to lose?0 -

Did you recently cut to 105 then start eating normally/at maintenance this week? If so, it'll just be water weight from glycogen stores replenishing. I seriously doubt there is a visible difference between 2 lb, don't sweat it.0
