Some words of encouragement and motivation for MFPs

Options
"First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination and what the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."
-Napoleon Hill

"Feed your dreams beyond the limits of illusion of your mind and challenge yourself to turn each one into reality. Your dreams are but the etched framework of possibilities depicting the "what ifs" of life, as the artist, it is up to you to paint them onto the canvas of life."
-Bellydancingqueen's reflection of Napoleon Hill's quote.

"Thinking too long about doing something is often the reason it never gets done."

“The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It’s as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today.” ~ Nolan Bushnell

“If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.” ~ Bruce Lee

“To think is easy. To act is difficult. To act as one thinks is the most difficult.” ~ Johann Wolfgang Von Goeth

“Your mind is for having ideas, not holding them.” ~ David Allen

“We have a strategic plan. It’s called doing things.” ~ Herb Kelleher

“There’s a tendency to mistake preparation for productivity. You can prepare all you want, but if you never roll the dice you’ll never be successful.” ~ Shia LaBeouf

    Marcus Tullius Cicero

"Follow effective action with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection will come even more effective action."
    Peter Drucker

"Action and faith enslave thought, both of them in order not be troubled or inconvenienced by reflection, criticism, and doubt."

To quote your quote: "To act as one thinks is the most difficult.” ~ Johann Wolfgang Von Goeth

"Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful."
    Margaret J. Wheatley

Success begins with a well thought out game plan (having a goal, purpose and way of tracking progress plays a huge part- thanks healthygreek) and in order to be effective self-reflection is key to ensuring that you are creating your own goals that are not reflective of anyone's desires and expectations but your own (thanks Jerrypeoples), ensuring that you are using proper judgement (i.e. not eating yellow snow- thanks michellemybell) to ensure that action does not result in negative consequences. But the key component for turning an idea or a goal into reality is taking action (thanks yoovie) so that you can turn your "what-ifs" into reality and continue to build on your hopes and dreams creating the life you always wanted (this was my point) and so that you can crush your enemies (thanks BF Deal).

"If you’re overweight and working on losing weight, don’t think you’ll love yourself more when you reach your goal. Start now, and who cares what the world has to say about how you look now if you’re making efforts to be healthier. Roll around on the floor a little with your arms open to what the universe can bring you – embrace who you are and don’t hold anything back." --Kerri Baker
