Has anyone tried Hello Fresh?

I see they have lots of entries in the food database; so I think someone must have tried it. If you did, what did you think? Was the prep easy, delivery reliable? Was the food tasty?

I had it a few months back. I only got it because it was a Groupon offer. The food was good, but its all expensive for what you get. Easier if you just buy the stuff in the shops. Everything was easy and tasty though.

I liked it as "date nights" with the boyfriend... was fun to cook together. I had to stop due to expense but it was worth it, cheaper than going out.

They have been handing out free $30 vouchers for this at the train station lately, if they do it again, I'll grab one and post the card for someone to try.

It's a great idea, but there are foods I can't eat and foods I don't like. I'm not going to pay for stuff I won't use, KWIM? If I wasn't so picky, I'd do it.

I do order some things on amazon - things my grocery store doesn't carry and things I use regularly, like Tide pods. Very much like delivery and wish grocery stores would just start offering the service. Publix could deliver!
  • Sorry haven't tried it, BUT livingsocial has a deal right now. =)
