knee injury question

I have a strange knee injury: there is no pain, but I hear and feel a click with every step. When this started, I also had trouble squatting all the way down and couldn't get up from that position, but now this part got better. I'm not sure if this is serous enough to stop exercising. (I'm doing Jillian Michaels Body Revolution, and so taking a break would probably mean I'd have to go a few levels back). The knee does get worse from some exercises (that involve bending the knee all the way). Anybody had anything like that?

Coming from someone who has been through two knee surgeries and years of rehab, go see a doctor. None of us on here can know what you've done to your knee.0

agree. I've injured my knee 2x. definitely have it checked out. I had the clicking too, and turned out I had a sprain.0

yup, agree. knees are complicated. i recommend finding a good sports therapist. this is usually a combo chiro/pt practice.

See your doctor and maybe physical therapist. You don't want to create more of a problem by ignoring it and continuing to workout.0

Sounds like a meniscus tear. It will lock up or click and may not hurt and can heal on its own sometimes or sometimes needs surgery.0
