Calories allowed only 1060?!?!?!?

I know this cannot be right. My profile has me set up to consume 1450 calories per day before exercise. MFP is telling me I'm only allowed 1060 and then it's doing something weird with exercise and only allowing me a net of 921 calories. I'm not a newbie, I'm a return - and I know that even 1200 calories a day is not enough for me. How can I fix this? My profile has my goal set for 1450 calories a day.

Go into your "goal" and adjust from there

It's saying I earned -360 calories from exercise today as opposed to +360. Any idea how to fix that? My goal is 1450 calories, it's set correctly but my diary is only saying 1200 calories and MFP is actually subtracting exercise calories instead of adding them.

I think I should unlink my fitbit with MFP - that might be part of the problem, although I don't know why my diary still says 1200 calories allowed.

oh yeah. Something's broken. unlink the fitbit and then let's see what happens.

There is a setting (but I can't find it right now) where you tell your fitbit to not send a negative calorie adjustment to MFP. What is happening is that your fitbit is constantly updating your calories burned, both from BMR and activity, during the day and it doesn't credit you the BMR calories until you've used them. That is why it is showing a minus. At the end of the day, it will all balance out but is annoying during the day. I have mine set so it doesn't maker those negative calorie adjustments.

I'll keep looking for where you turn it on or off. Also, if you unlink and then link up again, it may be in the initial setup with the new link

    I FOUND IT!

Go to "Food" on the blue task bar, then go to "settings" on the lower task bar. Scroll about 3/4 of the way down and you will see a section called "Calorie Adjustments". Make sure the box next to "Enable Negative Adjustments" is UNchecked.

MFP doesn't normally let a negative calorie adjustment go beyond 1200, though. Sounds like maybe a tech support issue.

Thank you everyone. I unlinked the fitbit and now I can't even find the calorie adjustments. I'm just going to leave well enough alone. I will manually add my active minutes. I'm sure this is a tech issue somewhere as I have used MFP for about three years already (took too long of a break) and never had this issue before.
