Recording Serving as Exercise

I've been using myfitnesspal for about a year now and have often wondered if it's appropriate to record hours spent at a serving job as "exercise". I'm a student that works at a pub on weekends and typically I spend more hours on my feet at work that I do during other activities. What are thoughts on recording serving as "light walking" in your diary. Would love to hear some opinions from everyone!

I would alter my activity level to reflect that.

Change your activity level (probably just one level up, say from sedentary to lightly active) and don't record it. What you do at your job is already included in there.

If you're only serving on the weekends, I'd keep the basic activity level at whatever you have it, and log the hours serving.

I'd pick either "Walking, 3.0 mph, moderately and carrying light objects less than 25 lbs" or "Walking, 3.5 mph, briskly and carrying objects less than 25 pounds" depending on how fast you work.

A fitbit or other activity tracker could help you with that too.
