Hi. I'm CeCe. I'm 22 years old, and I'm trying to lose 50 pounds by May. I have a slight problem though. I hardly eat anything, which lead to me losing 13 pounds in two weeks. I don't really have an appetite. I drink lots of water, and I'm addicted to broccoli and cheese, collard greens, baked chicken, tilapia, cooked veggies and tropical fruit. I eat junk every now and then, but not everyday like I used to. I just wanna know if I'm losing weight too quickly is there anything I can do to slow it down a bit. Like I said I eat greens, other veggies, protein and fruits. I just can't eat a lot. Help?

Hi CeCe! 13 pounds in two weeks is quite a bit to lose. For healthy and sustainable weight loss, you may need to up your calories. Would love to chat more, feel free to add me as a friend.0

easy enough to bump your calories up with highly dense calorie foods
add butter, cream, peanut butter, oils, cheese to your foods

Have some diet whey protein shakes to make up your calories as well.0

It's quite possible that most of that was water weight. I lost 11 pounds the first week eating around 1900 calories per day, so I attribute that to water weight. The next week forward, it was around 1-2 pounds per week, which is a completely healthy rate of loss.0

I agree with @jasonmh630. It could just be a lot of water if its your first 2 weeks. Give it another week or so, but if you are feeling hungry, you may have your calories set too low.0

@tinklemar That's the thing...I'm not hungry. Most days I can survive off of one meal a day, and be completely satisfied. Some days its two. Not to mention I just can't eat like I used to or I basically end up upchucking or what most people like to call vomiting. I seriously think there is something wrong with me.
@lewispwest I'll try the diet whey protein shakes. They might help, and I might actually be able to keep those down.
Thank you all of you for responding and for your help and advice.0 -
If you are going to be successful at this, you need to develop a healthy relationship with food. If you are vomiting when eating normal amounts, you need to see a doctor. Even moderate overeating shouldn't cause vomiting. It is either stress induced or you have a serious problem. Either way, I repeat, please see a doctor.0

@concordancia Yeah, I've actually got an appointment tomorrow at this place called Med Direct. I hope they can help. Its gotten so I can't eat greasy foods and can only hold under 600 cals. Sometimes I eat over that but I always end up bent over the toilet and puking everything back up. I have been depressed lately and my appetite decreased dramatically when that happened, but I didn't expect the vomiting. So yeah, I've got an appointment tomorrow at 1:30 tomorrow evening.
