Hi I need help with what would be considered my daily activity level. If im usually sitting around all day but go to the gym to work out for an hour or two, does that count as sedentary or light activity?

For MFP, put your activity level as sedentary, then log your workouts separately.0

Sitting around all day is the definition of sedentary. As 'concordancia' says - log your exercise and you will get credited with extra calories as exercise isn't part of your activity setting.0

Yep, that's what I do and it's always worked fine for me.0 -
I put myself as sedentary but I have two kids that I take care of...hmm not overly sedentary but I don't do much outside of that.0
