Oat cookie ingredients?

Hey everyone,
I saw this great simple recipe for oat/chocolate chip chookies on MFP but the problem is I absolutely hate the taste of bananas. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can substitute the banana for that will bind the oats together into the cookie?

ewwww i hate applesauce in cookies. personally, based on the recipe i do not think applesauce would help your cause... its too wet and not as protein filled as a banana so you would brobably end up with a mush pile or a hockey puck. egg whites work for coconut macaroons so they are probably a better bet. if you dont use bananas you may want to add a little sugar of some sort. because the bananas were the sweetness... other than the chocolate.0
