Eating back calories?

Hi there
On an average day, I burn about 500-700 calories or so...
My goal is a teensy bit of weight loss, and to tone up my body.
However... Do I need to eat back the calories that I've burnt?
The topic muddles my head up a little!
Thank you!

Not if you are doing TDEE.
Optional if you are using the MFP net calorie default. Be careful of the accuracy of your burns. If you are using MFP to estimate rather than a HRM, then people often overestimate their own effort as well as MFP inflating the calorie burn , which means they can be inaccurate. To avoid eating calories you havent burned because of inaccurate burns then many people eat to 50-75% back.
Imo eat if you are hungry up to 50%.0 -
A modest calorie deficit is for fat loss.
Exercise is for health and works better when fueled properly.

I'd suggest probably eating back about half. You don't want your net calories for the day to be too low.0

I'm usually quite skeptical about the MFP calorie burn thingy.. so usually I take my minutes down by atleast a third of the original amount.. if I burn more then Yay for me.
Sadly I don't have a HRM... sigh!
Thank you again for your response0 -
