Does anyone use Paul McKenna's 'I can make you thin' mind programming stuff? I have the cd on my iPod and try and listen to it before I go to sleep (but normally end up nodding off after 5 mins - it takes 25 mins t listen to the whole thing!)

It does make me more conscious when I'm eating, but i'd love to know what everyone else thinks of it. If others liek it, i will try and stick to listening to it more regularly!

don't listen to the CD anymore, but the tips he has in the book have really stuck with me particularly about eating slowly/put cutlery down between bites. I find this helps me so much, because i used to just wolf food down and then feel sick soon after!

I also like the advice about not kicking yourself for having a bad day :)

    would definatley recommend the book

Its funny that you mention this cos I bought the book on Saturday, and read the whole thing within an hour! lol

I havent listened to the CD yet, would anyone recommend?

I have remembered his 4 golden rules, and his tips about eating slowly etc.. Sometimes I find it hard to eat only when im hungry.. may sound odd but if you live with family, dinner is normally made at a certain time isnt it? So I sit down with my family to eat at dinner time, even though some of the time im not hungry.

I dont think his 'exercises' worked on me though. If anyone has read it, have these worked for you? For example, if you have a craving for something, push pressure points on your neck, armpit etc?

    interested to know your views.

i actually followed this around 3 years ago and did lose about 2 stone doing what he said, and i really did eat whatever i liked not feeling guilty about having some chocolate if i felt like it. I think any diet, or lifestyle change is impossible to keep to if you deny yourself things everything in moderation is ok in my book so if i want a bar of chocolate or a glass of wine i just make sure i exercise that day or be really good on my meals so i can incorporate in the calories.
