Newbie . . . First day

Hi everyone! I am new to My Fitness Pal. This is day #1 for me. I've been disgusted with my weight gain due to a back problem that didn't allow me to hardly walk let alone exercise. I since have had the surgery nearly 5 months ago and now I need to get back in shape. I feel miserable in my clothes and was looking for a way to do this on my own. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. Well, here's to the first day, wish me luck!

    Hello! Good luck :) Happy to hear that you are recovering nicely. I also have some back issues - arthritis and herniated discs. Things are hurting more than usual when I exercise, but all the more reason to lose some of the weight.
