I keep going over on protein, is this a bad thing?

Someone said protein gets stored at fat if you eat too much of it....wonder how much truth that holds...im always over protein0

I do 40% protein, 30% fat, 30% carbs. It's hard to go over on protein that way. My guess is that you've got it set to 20% protein or something like that.0

I've heard that MFP goals are set quite low. Honestly I wish I would go over on protein. Instead I'm always over on my sugar and carbs:/0

If there is one thing that you can go over on and not worry it is protein.
If you are working out and your body is breaking down it is the proteins that repair and make you stronger.
MFP also has the protein set low. I changed mine and bumped it up.
Carbs = energy
Protein = muscle
Fat = fat
Also a note that unused carbs will be stored as fat not proteins.

A better analogy for fat would be fat=hormones, because cholestrol is the building block for many of them.0
