Inaccurate nutrition labels

Hello. I log on myfitnesspal every day. I recently did the math (9 cal per fat gram, 4 for carb and protein gram) and saw my nutrition labels underestimate themselves! I want to keep an eye on my nutrition and accurate calories but how if the products are not accurate? For example my Hersheys dark chocolate says 170 per three blocks on myfitnesspal but its really 195! How do I log now???

either log exactly the same and just keep things in the ballpark or track macros and calculate calories from them/

Remember that the food posts you see on MFP are done by members and may not always be accurate. Use your food labels. Also keep in mind that the FDA allows a +/- 20% leeway in calories on package labels so even those won't be 100% correct.

    1. Use what MFP has and leave it at that.
    2. Enter your own info based on the package.
    3. Correct the MFP entry to what it says on your package.

How do I correct the entry?
