Could be. Calories being equal, you'll lose more with exercise than without it.

    You're eating too much.

Weight fluctuates daily by somewhere up to 5 pounds. It sounds like you're seeing your maintenance range. If you stopped exercise but kept your intake the same, then yes that could be part of the problem.

In your other thread here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10033623/tired#latest you mentioned that you'd stopped logging for a while. It's very common for our sense of what's a reasonable portion to creep upward when we stop logging, which can lead us to eat a little more than we think we are. If you've stopped logging and stopped exercising, then I'd bet that you're eating somewhere around your maintenance calories right now. Adding exercise back in or decreasing your calories would probably help you to lose again.

Firstly calculate your activity level and calorie level then invest in a food scale and weigh all foods you will eat, measure fluids log accurately, exercise will give you a bigger margin but be careful not to over estimate calorie burns a HRM would be good if doing cardio. Keep going don't focus on scales see how clothes fit I lost inches before lbs and to be honest the lbs do follow I wish you all the best. Ive been where you are for 3 months the scale didn't move I got so stressed but following the above I managed it. If after around 6 weeks no change lower calories by 100 and see what happens, the numbers are a close guide sometimes they are out a bit so trial and error. I set my goal to 0.5lbs a week and ive lost all my weight using this method no starving here.

Even with logging my weight fluctuates by a few pounds all the time depending on what I eat or my activity level. If I exercise that helps the water weight come down. I do agree that you should start logging again for awhile.
