Building muscle while loseing weight

New too fitness pal i entered my goal weight how do i change my protien intak .the current recommendation is too low thanks

Hi Mooseaka, to adjust your settings for your protein intake you need to go into your goal settings on MFP and you can adjust from there. Welcome and good luck0

just to address the topic of your post..
if you are in a calorie deficit you are not going to build muscle…
the reason being is that you need energy (calorie surplus) to build muscle, and you need an energy deficit (calorie deficit) to lose fat; so as you can see the two processes are diametrically opposed to one another.
Think of it this way - can you build a house and tear it down at the same time, using the same material?
The only caveat to this is that obese beginners may experience some newbie gains but after about four to six weeks that will cease….
