NSV - still here!

This will be my 4 th Christmas as a smaller girl (70lbs down). It's been a crazy busy year and harder than ever to find time for me, but here I am still in target range and I've done a sprint tri, 50k bike ride and first fun run with my 11 year old who has autism. Sometimes it's really hard to find that time (or to convince myself that what I really want to do with 40 mins of child free time is to go and exercise) but here are a few of the NSV s that make it worth it:
- i haven't had to lie on the floor to try and fasten my jeans up in a long time!
- Getting ready for work Christmas do not having to worry about what would fit (and what excuse I could tell my husband about why I wasn't wearing a nice dress without having to admit it didn't fit)
- my son wanting to jog with me on a Sunday
- My very athletic cousin cheering me on at the triathlon and saying she was proud of me
- I still have times when my confidence isn't good, but I haven't given up. Some training sessions are better than others but I know I've only failed when I haven't done it at all.
- No blood pressure meds for 2 years
- i can keep up with my kids!
There' s are just some of the things that keep me going when it would feel so easy to just press that snooze button. What are yours?

One of my co-workers just noticed that my face looks thinner and that it looks like I've lost weight. I'm only 31 days in, have lost 7 pounds, but it feels great that someone noticed!0

That's a great feeling isn't it? Well done.0
