New here, 9 lbs gone!

I guess I can celebrate this small success? I hit my month mark today and weighed in, and lo and behold, I've lost 9 lbs. I'm sure it's all water and I'm so overweight that it's not a big deal, but hey. It's a start! "only" 41 lbs to go.

    Ahh, that's sooo good!! 9 pounds is really good. Even if it's just 1 pound, it's something!! You have to be optimistic! :0)

    Thanks everyone. I'll keep pushing on. Today was a little bit weird because I went to Cracker Barrel (could there BE a WORSE place for someone watching calories???) with my mom and then ate at her house for supper, and she's not health-conscious whatsoever. Did some Jillian and feel better!
