How do you know that mirror is giving you a true vision of you? I hate that bathroom mirror. I swear this mirror has a magnify effect; My tummy looks rounded and the spare tires are clearly visiable and as for those thunder thighs.lol. But the mirror in my brothers room I love it! Stand side on and I'm looking waif like. Stand full frontal and I've got that Thigh gap thing going on. So which mirror is acurate? Walking pass a shop window...is it a true image?

ugh. none. you can't worry about that kind of thing or you will go crazy. worry about the way you feel. the way your clothes fit. a thigh gap is no indicator of health or success <3<3

I have the reverse problem. My camera hates me, my mirror
is the best. I feel good when I see my selection but once any
    camera snaps me .. yikes!

I know that I have a somewhat warped perception of what I see in the mirror. Normally, when I look at my reflection, whether at home getting dressed or at the gym, I don't think I look any different than I did 15 pounds ago. Maybe because I was that size for so long it's just what is imprinted on my brain. So it always takes me by surprise when other people comment that I've lost weight. On the other hand, when I saw some pictures taken of me and posted by a friend on Facebook, I thought I looked tiny and barely recognized myself.

@Dared2Evolve and @Spnneil06 I disagree. I think your cameras are working great :-)

I definitely hope it's not walking by shop windows! I look 3 feet tall and 5 feet wide! :open_mouth:

I hope for my sake it's not a true reflection too!

I hate the bathroom mirrors at my office, I always feel tired and old and unattractive when I see myself in them. The mirror in my bedroom makes me feel much better about myself and the one in my bathroom at home is hit and miss....

As for cameras, most of the time I avoid them unless I can control the shot.

I'm pretty sure camera's have some weird vendetta against me. 99% of all pics of me make me look weird or furious (or weirdly furious)

When I smile in pictures it amplifies my little snaggle tooth and I look like, well I don't know what but it isn't good. So, I don't smile and then everyone comments on my lack of a smile or my smirk. I can't win.
