Apple Shapes

Hi! I'm definitely an apple shape. My trouble area is my midsection and it's about the same measurement as my hips. I've always had trouble finding jeans that fit well. After losing a lot of weight shopping has become easier but I still struggle because of my shape. Old navy is impossible! Those jeans are made for pears! I usually have luck at American Eagle but I went there this weekend shopping for jean shorts with no luck! I tried gap and all of their shorts don't fit and are ugly (Maybe I just don't understand the current fashion trends but I'm having a lot of trouble lately with unflattering clothes!) Fellow apples, where do you shop?

    I am more of a pear (I think? Lol), but I'm insanely tall too so finding jeans are just.. ugh.. a nightmare! Target seems to work the best for me! They have "curvy" jeans that give more room in the hips! In my case, I need more room for my love handles ;) Hahaha

    Do you have a maurices near you? I LOVE their jeans and they have many different styles
