Our manager is having the Christmas party at her house. I usually would not go but I like this manager and I know she's going to be working hard to get everything prepared. She's frying a turkey and everyone else is bringing a dish to pass. We're also doing a grab bag which should be fun. Did I mention she's also providing beer & wine which I know I shouldn't partake in? It's this weekend so I'm going to hit it hard this week and hopefully won't do too much damage in the weight department.0

My work Xmas lunch is huge! Full meal deal, but I figure I don't have to take one of everything and can load up on salad and fruit, more so then bread, mashed spuds and gravy and desserts. No it's not the way I'd like, but I have to control what I take. Have to!! I can! (I'm going to tell myself this until lunch time...22nd!)
My boyfreind's work party is tomorrow night. Not only do they have great food, but also an open bar. Yes please!! Yep...I will be a few and enjoying every minute of it. A plus side...I drink diet coke, so I can have a few and not feel too bad. Then...back to being good all week and weekend.0 -

I work in the field so dont get to see everyone during the holidays. my boss lady has an awesome party which I always try to attend. It is hard as there is a full bar and I always soooooooo want a drink, but I dont handle al-key-hawl very well and can just imagine the pictures!!!
So I end up the designated driver each year. Woopee!
Food-gonna bring my own Hummus and Veggie platter.0 -
We usually have a dinner but I haven`t had any interest in going the last few years.0

I kinda have one.
All the stay at home mom's on our street get together (at someones home) and we drink, and drink and eat. We call it our Christmas Cookie exchange party but trust me, nobody is exchanging cookies. lol Last year was a blast but a video of me dancing ended up on facebook so this year I will try to be a good girl. :blushing:0 -

Nope, I live in the bible belt. We do stuff during work hours and then go to lunch on the day of our "Christmas" party. No drunken party after work with the co-workers here.

Most don`t give me the time of day but would rather have smart and funny over gorgeous if they were an airhead like some of the Hollywood ones.

Our office was going to have one. $10 per person and a full bar you have to pay cash for. But free food and kareokee:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: I was going to go but they cancelled it because there werent enough people interested. :grumble: :sad: :laugh: I usually don't go. We usually go back home for the holidays. But they are now trying to change it to where we cant take vacation on Christmas week anymore:grumble: :sad: :sad: :sad: So we were gonna go to that instead.
