Not happy with my scale. I always weigh myself twice to make sure it's correct. But my scale is giving me 2 different answers, by 1-1.5 pounds. UGH! Should I buy a new one? I just changed the batteries.

I've run into that issue before with my scale. Make sure that its on a completely even surface. That seemed to fix my issues. If that doesn't work- then a new scale may be in order.

Make sure you are standing the same way. and in same position on the scale. I have noticed this makes a difference. If you are 1/2" fwd/bkwd/left or right..... :( Best of luck!
  • Try changing the batteries first. Mine started to do that and after I changed the batteries it became consistent.

make sure the surface is completely even- bathroom floors, for example, are often tiled which can cause one part to be higher or lower.

In general, I got so frustrated with slight fluctuations that I cut way way down on the frequency of my weigh-ins, and only weighed myself when I really felt I had lost a couple pounds. That took the guess work out of the annoying scale for me. But if you prefer to weigh very often, a more precise (and expensive!) scale may be necessary.
