What happens after Insanity??

I am wanting the Insanity workout program for xmas. I am really tempted to do the whole thing, as created (follow the schedule, implement the eating plan (some what) etc.) Now, I have never exercised 6 days out of the week. I also do not always go full on intensity either (some days I do weights, some days I do hardcore cardio, some days HIIT, some days I go for a walk).
I always told myself that I want to make sure that whatever I do, is maintainable long-term. I do not want to become so into exercise that I am doing it near every day and full intensity mode for every exercise.
I am thinking if I do this program for the 60 days, then return back to my normal routine, would I not be able to maintain what I gain from Insanity?
My alternative will be to do 1-2 insanity workouts per week. Along with my turbo fire, weights, walks.

Once you finish Insanity, you do something else. If it's not as intense as Insanity, you'll have to adjust your calorie intake to make sure you're at a deficit, maintenance mode, or at a bulk. It depends on your goals.0

I'm pretty sure that low back pain and meniscal tears happen after Insanity.0

I took a couple of weeks break after completing and am running through it for a second time at the moment. I recently got Body Beast (as it was on the cheap from Amazon), so I'll be running that from Feb (when this round of Insanity is done). Thinking I'll alternate between the two for most of 2015, and then look at a longer term sustainable hybrid of the two.0

You can also look into Insanity Asylum (vol 1 & 2) - Insanity is a Beach Body program, so you could go to their site and see what they have that you might like. As Benjinkan mentioned - Body Beast is one of the favorites (but requires equipment - unlike insanity).0

I just switched to this after doing t25/Insanity for about 7 months. Then I do some form of cardio on the off days. SO MWF I do 5x5 then TTSS I do cardio
Check it out0 -
I always thought after insanity, they locked you up and made you wear a silly jacket.0

You start lifting real weight and making all the gainz.0

Insanity Asylum (vol 1 & 2) or Insanity Max 30!
Personally, I took a few weeks off or did T25. Great program.0
