Sugar scrub recipe for your legs!

I wouldn't recommend eating this...but it's my favorite thing to get silky smooth legs. Hey, if we're all working hard to get to our fitness goals, we deserve to pamper ourselves every once in a while!
Use 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1/2 cup of sugar, and mix well. You can also add some fresh lemon juice in to this as well.
Go to your bathtub, and start slathering it all over your legs. It may feel strange and rough, but the sugar is exfoliating your legs. Once you've fully covered your legs, let it sit for about a minute or two. Rinse off thoroughly, and use a razor to shave your legs after; you may have a lot of dead skin that was exfoliated/buffed out clogging up your blades; just rinse your razor regularly under the faucet.
End this with some nice body lotion, and you will have silky smooth legs!
One of my favorite DIY pampering projects. Enjoy!
(Also: Make sure you clean your tub thoroughly! I use Dawn dish soap and a sponge, and it gets the job done perfectly in under 5 minutes. Don't want to slip on oil the next day while taking a shower!

I did this on the weekend but I used coconut oil instead0

I do something similar with coconut oil and ground coffee. I usually end up super smooth - and smelling like dessert.0

I might actually try this, my skin needs some serious help and I know I'm not allergic to those ingredients lol, thanks!0

Do it in the tub, wash the tub, and oh, yeah, it's December... there are no ants.

This is a simple recipe. It can be doctored up in awesome ways!
I like to use coconut oil instead of olive oil because of an allergy. I add things like essential oils, honey, vitamin e capsule, small Dab of body wash for a foaming scrub, etc.
Then I take a dip in a bath of hot water and unfiltered sake which tones the skin.
Follow it off with a body oil (like sesame) or body butter.
Fancy smancy!0 -

I like your way. It seems like an amazing pampering day!
I've also considered getting some coconut oil as well; a friend uses it to lather onto her skin a few times a week, and it's had me intrigued!0 -
I use this on my hands! I work at a zoo, so I'm always outside and always washing my hands. Enduring a chicago winter is hell on my hands, and this is the only product that seems to help. The skin around my nails cracks and peels, and can be rather painful
I also added tea tree oil (to help fight infection that can cause the cracks in the skin around the nails) and well as vitamin E oil. I swear by this scrub0 -
i do something like this for my lips

Go to a Trader Joe's or Ocean State Job Lots, the price on the coconut oil will be better than the grocery store. And OSJL gets a lot of Bob's Red Mill and other pricey and/or organic stuff

I read the title of this thread and all I can think about now is the song "Pour some sugar on me".
