I walked the beach for a mile, how many calories did I burn?

It all depends on how fast, the terrain of the beach, your heigh, weight, physical shape you are in, a lot of things. Look through the database and try to figure it out...0

I had that same question, what I got from googling it was if you walk in the sandy part not down by the water it burns about 50 percent more calories than if you walk on pavement or around the block etc. so put it down for about what you think your speed was and add 50 percent. but if you were walking at the edge of the water where the sand is more packed just go with regular calories.0
