Garmin Vivofit watch (step and sleep tracker)

So I asked my husband for a vivofit watch for x-mas. The salesman told him I could use my polar HRM with it. Does anyone have this watch and have you used another HRM strap. How do you like it? The watch is compatible to myfitnesspal! I was so excited to know that!!

I don't think polar is one of the ANT+ HRMs. Check this site - http://www.thisisant.com/consumer/ant-101/what-is-ant/

I just got the vivofit and it didn't work with the 2 HRMs I already had. I just ordered an ANT+ compatible one

Buy the bundle. Comes with the hrm band It is on special at target. I'm getting one too. I have a fitbit but wanted an hrm upgrade. There is no group on here for vivofit. Anyone interested?

I'm using an old Wahoo HRM strap (ANT+) with my Vivofit. Works perfectly for me.

I can very rarely get mine to sync to MFP the way I could with my FitBit.
